Swordswoman Shoot - Caister

Joanna Swann, a local actress, contacted me back in the summer ans asked me if I would be interested in photographing her using a broadsword that she uses in her sword martial art training. I have known Jo for a couple of years and have shot her headshots for her, so I said of that I would as it would make for some interesting additions to my book cover stock portfolio.. I chose to shoot the set at Caister on Sea as the dunes there allow a clear sky background, can be made to look like fen/moorland and I always seem to be lucky and get great skies and clouds. So this week we shot the set using costumes that Jo had put together along with some cloaks and outfits that I had bought a while ago from a costume shop closing down sale.
